Quote Me: Don’t Spill The Milk.
If you only have a hammer,
you tend to see every problem as a nail.
I could go on a spiel about self-actualization or Maslow’s Hierarchy, but I won’t. That should have been taken care of during your Psych 101 class in your freshman year.
What I will say is this; use every tool in your emotional toolbox when confronted with a problem.
Try kindness, and humor, and calmness, and talking,
Try sarcasm, silence, patience, and teasing.
Try crying, screaming, whining, and anger.
Try dueling, singing, cuddling and love.
Use them all.
Problems are like opening a coconut. There are tons of ways to do it, you just need to find the right one so you don’t spill the milk.
